Job Responsibilities
RT Logic is a leading supplier of ground signal processing systems (RF, DSP, and digital domains) for satellite operations including factory test, launch, bus operations, and assured mission capabilities. Our technology also supports non-space applications. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Software Engineer in our Denver Office.

This is a combined development and leadership role. Lead project engineering and development efforts in support of Space Applications (satellite control center, ground systems and terrestrial networks) products as well as engage in technical development, test and integration efforts of final products including software defined radios and data processing/network management devices. Work extensively with customers, performing requirements analyses/design tradeoffs and developing system/product architectures. Manages project technical baseline (hardware, software, firmware). Guides/mentors project engineers. Experience in some or all of the following: signal monitoring, satellite test, data encryption/decryption, digital signal processing, and embedded systems.
Qualifications
BS EE/CS or MS EE/CS (preferred) plus 10 or more years progressive experience in technical project engineering, satellite ground systems, and satellite communications. Experience with C++, Python, Flash highly desired. Knowledge of VHDL desired. Requires demonstrated strong technical and leadership skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, a high level of accountability, and solid written and verbal communication skills. Experience interacting with customers on a regular basis preferred. Must be a US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance.
