10:RTL-040: Embedded Systems Architect

Job Responsibilities
RT Logic is a leading supplier of ground signal processing systems (RF, DSP, and digital domains) for satellite operations including factory test, launch, bus operations, and assured mission capabilities. RT Logic seeks to extend the real-time performance boundaries of our digital processing and networking product line. We have an exciting opportunity for a System Architect to both drive R&D related to our wideband digital products and lead the technical innovation for key wideband products/projects.

Responsibilities include:

•Software, firmware, device driver and hardware module/interface engineering related to the wideband product line.
•Lead project teams of RT Logic engineers in developing and delivering high performance custom solutions.
•Drive systems engineering aspects of complex technical projects.
•Performance analysis, troubleshooting, test & measurement, test approach.
•Prepare and perform effective architecture and design level presentations.
•Work directly with customers and RT Logic engineers to architect tailored product and system level solutions.
•Understand clients requirements and expectations and ensure they are met.
•Collaborate with other systems architects and RT Logic management to drive architecture/design for future RT Logic products
•Assist in business development activities.
•Mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
•BSCS/EE, MS Preferred
•15+ years of progressive experience in applying real-time embedded technology for data processing, IP networking, communication systems, sensors, or crypto-related applications.
•Ability to directly contribute quality software content to projects/products. Ability to contribute quality firmware in addition is a bonus.
•Ability to lead highly skilled teams in an aggressive, multi-project environment.
•Demonstrated success at high performance high-tech product engineering.
•Diverse background in application development, implementations, and test/measurement methodologies (HW or SW).
•Proven systems engineering and systems architect experience.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Self starter, team player, entrepreneur at heart.
•U.S Citizenship and ability to secure and maintain a US Gov Security Clearance is required.
